Remembrance

I don't know if any of you know this....but today at 9 am, Mystery Science Theater 3000 aried for the final time, possibly ever. I was right there watching it and enjoying it...

In case you're not aware, MST3K is a show in which a guy (Joel for the first few seasons, later replaced by Mike Nelson.) and two robots (Crow T. Robot and Tom Servo) are forced to watch crappy old SciFi movies in a horrific experiement by the evil Dr. Forrester (earlier in the show) or later on in the series by his mother, Pearl, the ape-like imbecile Bobo, or the omnipotent Brain Guy/Observor.

The show was fun to watch and I made it a ritual to catch it every saturday morning on SciFi. Although they stopped making new episodes in 2000, SciFi had picked up a deal to rerun the last few seasons. Well....the contract apparently ended today and apparently SciFi has decided not to renew it. Judging from the fact that the show is gone forever, and the MST3K website on SciFi.com is now gone.

I really loved that show, and I will miss it dearly. Prehaps I will try and find some episodes on DVD. For those interested in learning more about this show, almost all content from the SciFi channel website has been generously given to this site.

In other news, I managed to play *legally or otherwise....* quite a few games.

This will include Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga, Wario Ware, Kirby: Nightmare in Dreamland, and Advance Wars 2. All of these games are enjoyable and I'd recommend them.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

Um...Right.

How did I celebrate New Years? I was sitting on my computer, looking at drawings people posted online, drinking pepsi, and at the same time watching a Twilight Zone marathon on SciFi.

Oh yeah, multitasking
