A triumphant Return....

Sorry for not being around, I've had kind of a sucky couple of weeks.

For one, I've been sick for almost 2 weeks. I missed 3 and a half days of School. Now I have 3 Biology papers to do before Tuesday....

Monday I get off for Inservice Day, which is really jujst my schools method of saying "hey! I'm not going to school on the first day of Deer Season

I started my own deviantART account. It's a site where people can post artwork they've done, and stuff like that. Seems kinda....gothic to me though. One guy there is (in)famous for photos he does of women dolled up to look like they've been killed/raped/both

Not much else is going on. I'm in the process of creating a webcomic. About a young man and a Dragon from a Parallel Universe

NOTE: The characters really look nothing like the photos, I just added those because I like doing the funny little pictures.....Once I scan in the pictures of fix them up in Photoshop, then I'll show you...

Games and Dreams

I had a very weird dream Monday night. I won't go into much detail, but it did involve me, my entire school, and a hunt for a Sharkman on the loose. I'm not that good at dream analysis.

In other news, I downloaded a Halo Demo for PC, and I suck at it....badly....I mean, you see this Warthog?, just picture me squished beneath the tires as it drives by. Oh yeah, that's me...

My dad went out to preoder Mario Kart: Double Dash!!! earlier today. It looks fun. I was hoping to get the bonus disc as well, with all the nice demos and movies and such, but the geniuses at Sam Goody didn't even know when the game was coming out, let alone that there was a Bonus Disc available if you preorder before the 17th. *heavy sigh*

I'm always wanting to get a Playstation 2 Modem Adapter as well as Tony Hawk's Underground. I'm thinking of just waiting and getting a Broadband adapter, as the dial-up one looks very limited in power....

Sorry there wasn't much humor in today's post. To make up for it, I'll leave you with this image. Ahh, the wonders of Google Images....

Exasperation

I just finished creating a new user account on my computer. You see, ever since I'd installed Horizons, the PC had been acting a fool.

But thankfully everything worked. I copied my favorites, pictures, games, Trillian, etc. all over, and it seems to work fine. It is safe to say we can breath a collective sigh of relief.

More later.....

Nice times...

I had to delete/uninstall Horizons, it was just too big. I mean, I love the game and everything, but 5 gigabytes is WAAAY too much for one game.

Right now I'm trying to download a multiplayer demo for Halo on the PC from the ever reliable (pun intended) Fileplanet.com. It's going to take at least 132 minutes, just to get the download, that does not include the actual downloading or installation!

Of course, Fileplanet does offer instant downloads to paying members, and it's only like 6 bucks a month (60 bucks for a year), but I don't have that kinda money. If I didn't live with my parents, I'd probably be living here, only picture a DirectTV dish on the one shanty.

Of course, I could get a job over the summer. Which would be good. By then I'll have my license, old enough to get at least minimum wage. Knowing my luck, I'll probably end up with jobs such as doing this, or dressing these guys

Although, I have been considering getting a job at the local GameCrazy. My mom lives a few blocks from it, and during the summer I spend most of the week with my mother, so a job there would be awesome. Selling games all day, etc. Plus it's in the same building as Hollywood Video.

In other news, I'm very interested in this Gamefly site. Apparently you can go there, sign up as a member, and they send you games of your choice to play as long as you like, then just send them back when your done and they'll send you more. And if you want to keep a game, you pay a used price. Sweet....

Horizons!

Finally! After 3 weeks of struggling, I finally managed to download the Horizons: Empires of Istaria beta! Of course, due to NDA, I cannot reveal any more info until the game is out. I feel happy.

In Battlefield 1942 news, I downloaded a new map called Invasion of the Phillipines. It's kinda confusing at times, and hard. Yet fun. And yes, I am crazy. Pretty soon you'll see a picture of my doing this in your local paper. Only I'd attach a labtop to mine...

I play a lot of MMORPGs. I used to play Everquest, Earth & Beyond, World War II Online, The Sims Online (Not a word from any of you, I actually kinda LIKE the sims. Not online though, it was boring), and for one day I played Rubies of Eventide.

Right now I play Star Wars: Galaxies and the Horizons beta.

In Warhammer news, I need some tanks to back up my Jungle Fighters. Crappy part is, I have little to no money. Just picture this.....only without the money. yeah, that's my Warhammer fund.

I'm getting pretty heavy on the link-age, so I'd better stop. Cya tomorrow
